Ask someone to name an app on your home screen. Wave your hand over the phone and the app is gone, leaving a gaping hole on your home screen!

Loving this app so much, only problem I can see is that the time stamp is incorrect when using the screenshot. Is it possible to program this so it crops out the time stamp in the screen shot and uses the real time?

Hey Scott!
It is possible to replace the status bar in the image with a real status bar.
The problem is that the status bar would not have the same background as it does on your home screen and that would give the trick away.

Interesting. So you couldn’t have the app crop the homepage image just below the status bar and have that completely transparent so the real status bar would show from below the screenshot?
It’s hard to describe. My background imagine is essentially black anyway

Yes, it is possible to crop the image and have the real status bar show but it will never be “transparent” in the sense that it uses your wallpaper as a background. I can specify which background it should use, but it’s impossible to retrieve the user’s wallpaper within the app.

I understand completely what you’re saying now. So is it possible this would be an option in the future to specify a colour below the real status bar eg for mine it would be black or is this too difficult to implement.
I guess for a spur of the moment performance it’s actually pretty easy to take two screen shots and set them up so no biggie

Hey Bjornorri, I’m loving your Magic apps Vanish & Color Changes…I’ve incorporated them into my sets and they are with me all the time, thank you for these masterpieces….I just have a suggestion or two….is it possible to add the ability to import Gif images as well…this way I could transform an inanimate object into a moving object right on my phone, and with the changes : swipe, touch, flip, wave…etc this would produce truly amazing illusions…please consider these updates, thanks so much in advance ❤️♣️♦️🖤
